Oxford Institute was started by experienced real estate professionals who saw the need for quality real estate training in South Africa. Oxford Institute is a fully Services SETA accredited real estate training provider, with deep roots within the South African real estate industry. Our marketing team consists of experienced real estate marketing consultants and real estate franchise sales experts with many years of investment expertise. As an established and experienced real estate training service provider, Oxford Institute provides quality training and courses specific to the real estate industry. The real estate courses offered are fully compliant with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority’s educational requirements and Services SETA standards. Our training courses has been specifically developed and structured for Candidate Property Practitioners in South Africa and offers quality training material, professionally facilitated workshop sessions and easy to understand class notes and study material. Oxford Institute offers Candidate Property Practitioners practical advice on completing the NQF4 Real Estate course whilst working, specifically with regards to time management.
Academics
NQF4 REAL ESTATE COURSE
The PPRA requires that all Candidate Property Practitioners comply with the following:
- To complete the NQF4 qualification
- To complete the logbook
- To write the PDE4 exam
- To serve a 1-year internship period, calculated form the date of issue of your 1st FFC.
The above must be done within 2 years.
The qualification requires an intensive study process, is not easy and doesn’t happen overnight.
Furthermore, it empowers the Candidate Property Practitioner with essential theoretical knowledge to put into practice.
The logbook is compiled over a few months. If you complete your qualification 1st, many of the items required for the logbook has already been compiled and can just be added in.
The PDE4 cannot be written before the NQF4 qualification is achieved and the logbook has been accepted by the PPRA. It can only be submitted from the 13th month after date of 1st registration.
- The qualification training is separated from the logbook compilation and the PDE4.
- Candidate Property Practitioners can follow the qualification first,
- thereafter opt to complete the logbook;
- then register for the PDE4 with the Services Seta Real Estate.

Our next Full Candidate Property Practitioners Course intake in Bloemfontein is scheduled for 1 November to 8 December 2025.
The program runs over 6 months. All class dates must be attended at our training venue in Bloemfontein or via the Teams platform.
